Through our tour highlight and example pages we have tried to demonstrate what we consider to be our unique differences, when  compared to the more commercially driven battlefield tour companies. Now its the turn for our customers to have their say. In so doing, we wanted to show evidence of what we say, but in the words of our customers.

Geoffrey Stallworthy

 

Geoffrey had wanted to retrace his father's own personal "war diary" and to learn more about the New Zealand Division during the Great War. Over four days we covered the Division's exploits on the Somme, Messines Ridge,  and "Passchendaele" , where he was wounded.

Their two year European history course includes a field trip to the battlefields of the Great War. We have taken their students to the battlefields - bi-annually -  for the last two years and long may our association continue!

I have downloaded this letter in full to show the level of tour preparation that is required, even before we reach the battlefields ! It also demonstrates the benefit of having a good group leader when organising large group tours. We hope to work with the Artists again in the near future. They commemorate their 350 anniversary this year.
